| Church News… Silver Creek Baptist Church will have Revival Services March 18-21. Services will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 10:45 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. Rev. Gene Douglas will be the evangelist and Philip Alford will be leading the music. Everyone is invited to come worship with Silver Creek. ~ ~ ~ Central Baptist Church will host a live broadcast via satellite with Beth Moore on April 24, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Beth Moore will be sharing a new message to women "So Long, Insecurity." The message is this: We don't have to be slaves to our insecurities! We can conquer fear and doubt and discover the liberating confidence and security that is found in Christ. | Christian Sympathy is extended to the Family of Rev. Howard C. Brister, who passed away March 8. Brother Howard served as a pastor for 56 years, 29 of those years at Navilla Baptist Church, where he retired in 2000. After retiring, he served in 8 interim pastor positions.
